This guided walking tour includes visits to Hasedera Temple, the Great Buddha of Kamakura, and Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine.
The ancient city of Kamakura offers a glimpse into the roots of modern Japan. During the tour, experience Kamakura from a different perspective upon a 40 minute rickshaw ride to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine.

PRICING

  • Adult: (12 years and older):  JPY 16,000
  • Child: ( 6 - 11 years old ):  JPY 11,000

**Remarks: For some tours, other tour fare will apply according to different age group for child.

ITINERARY

9:00 a.m. Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal <60 mins.> Kamakura Station Hase Station Hasedera Temple (Hase Kannon Temple) (60 mins.) Great Buddha (30 mins.)
Lunch Japanese-style lunch.
Rickshaw (man-pulled cart) ride (40mins.) Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine (60 mins.) Komachi Shopping street (30 mins.) Kamakura Station <60 mins.> Shinagawa Station Tokyo Station
5:00-6:00 p.m. Tour will disband upon arrival at Tokyo Station (The tour guide will tell you how to go back to your hotel.)


REMARKS

1. Please note that all seating on the trains is non-reserved seats and that it may not be possible to sit down.
2. Please dress casually and wear shoes comfortable for walking.
3. For operational reasons, your tour guide may not accompany you back to Tokyo after Kamakura Station. In this case, your guide will tell you how to go back to your hotel from Kamakura Station.
4. The rickshaw has a canopy so that it may be ridden even if it rains. If the rickshaw ride is cancelled due to a typhoon or strong winds, JPY 6,000 will be refunded.
5. One rickshaw is shared by two people.
6. In some cases, a bus may be used as transportation between Tokyo and Kamakura.
7. Because it is extremely hot in the months from July through September, please bring your own soft drink and hat.
8. Earphone guidance may be used if the number of participants is more than 15.
9. If a tour participant damages or loses an earphone guidance device, he/she may be charged for compensation (JPY 10,000).
